This was honestly amazing! The sort of memoir that takes you all over the world, and I loved the poetry and philosophy interludes.
It’s fascinating to see behind a cultural moment and icon, and there’s a lot here about finding yourself, relationships, art, and motherhood. Not a salacious celebrity memoir, but that’s not what I wanted. This one is more about survival, and how if you endure, you get to tell your story.
