I think we can all agree on that one…

Now, I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on when it comes to Greek myths, so books like these are always going to please! I liked the exploration of motives in well-trodden myths such as Persephone, but I think comic writing is always challenging. It’s easy for it to quickly sound “of its time” and I am not actually a huge fan of it in general. But, I think the balance here is pretty well executed, and I enjoyed the meander through the myths. You get a well-rounded and engaging tour of the main Zeus myths, with some great descriptions of the other Gods. Hera is given some of her agency back, and we get to peak into the minds of Aphrodite, Artemis, Apollo etc.

Short and easy read.
